How it works

A simple loop. Endless decisions.

A run begins with a hero and a zone. Survival depends on your movement, the upgrades you choose, and how you prepare for the next wave.

Pick your hero

Select a race, class, and battleground. Different class styles give each attempt a different opening rhythm.

Navigate the swarm

Move through enemy waves while abilities fire automatically. Leave yourself space to escape as the arena fills.

Shape your build

Level up and choose upgrades. Adapt your damage, reach, or defenses before bosses arrive.

Is Azeroth Survivors free?

Yes. Aethus describes the original as a free fan-made browser game. Open it from the game's own website.

Do I need to install World of Warcraft?

The original browser game runs from Aethus's site without a separate WoW installation. The open-source reconstruction is a different build and requires local client data.

Are the screenshots from the original?

No. The images on this page are verified in-game captures of the community reconstruction. The original may have different menus, balance, and content.

Is this the official game site?

No. This is an independent guide. Aethus made the original game and hosts it at wow.aethus.pl.
